Ground venison is an updated way to serve this kind of wild meat.
Form ground venison into 8 equal-sized patties and place on baking sheet. Season with salt and pepper. Preheat grill to medium and place patties on grill. Cook until desired doneness, about 4 to 5 minutes per side for medium-rare, longer for well done. Put your cooked patties inside hamburger buns and top with lettuce, onion, tomato, avocado, cheese and bacon slices. Makes 8 burgers.
